Thunder Hill Participates in several community outreach programs throughout the year. We raise money for Grassroots shelter with a change drive, have a used coat drive, and partner with Casey Cares to collect donations of movies, PJs and candy for terminally ill children and their families. Below are pictures of students celebrating their efforts with a school wide pajama day, and showing the donations they contributed. The students were thrilled to be participating in helping our greater community. Also the theme of our annual STEAM day was "Go Green" and was attended by many community volunteers and also councilman Allen Kittleman for the second year in a row, who enjoyed seeing all of the students, teachers and staff engaged in a day long celebration and work dedicated to STEAM studies focused on helping our Earth. There is more information about STEAM day in the Celebrations portion of this site.
